Youth for Christ South Africa (YfCSA) reaches young people all over South Africa. We work together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise lifelong followers of Jesus.
We also strongly believe in developing and growing “whole” young people. That is, while we care for the spiritual aspect of their development we also focus on physical, mental, health, employment and other challenges they face.
As a result we tailor interventions or programs to meet the need of young people where they are. For example, YfC in Kwazulu Natal may have different programs from YfC Knysna based on the needs of the young people in the respective communities.
Thus there are many ways you can get involved. You can give financially. Or, you can give your time and skill(s). There are many areas or ways you can be involved to make a difference in the lives of young people in South Africa.
If you’re a young person wanting to make a difference you can serve as an intern or get involved ‘year-of-your-life’ programs such as Change Agents, Ikageng and iThemba, among others.
